Vora Mar

 

Vora Mar is considered one of the best Ibiza style houses in the Portinatx bay. Built in 1975, it still remains an avant-garde house because of its Bauhaus design.

 

A true Mallorcan woman and lover of the Sea, Juana Pericas, who was ahead of her times, designed the plans for the house of her dreams.  In those times there were no architect willing to construct a house not designed by himself, let alone designed by a woman. 

 

In the end she found an Ibicencan architect, who had recently finished his degree in architecture who took on the challenge and accepted her design. This project then lead to the success of the architect's career.
